Today I joined Santa Barbara’s nonprofit community media center TVSB. I had an art show at their gallery 7000 a few years back. Now they are located off Salinas street. Anyway… I’m defiantly looking forward to getting involved with the community media center that delivers “Fresh Waves Made Daily on TVSB Voice & Culture” In February I’ll be taking my first class, that just happens to also be on my birthday!
Media 101: Producing a Program | Members: $25, Nonmembers: $35
Gain a basic overview and understanding of the production process & how to develop a program proposal. Learn the steps of pre-production planning and how to get your idea from concept to reality. By the end of the course, you’ll know how to effectively plan a community television show in our studio or on-location. You’ll be asked to develop a program proposal for a TV program as part of the class. Producer Certification is provided to members upon successful completion of this class, and is required to use TVSB equipment & facilities to produce a video or program.
