Recently I got in touch with the Economic Development Collaborative of Ventura County about their free small business counseling. I leaned about the service from attending a networking event at Connect Ventura. The process of applying online for free counseling was simple enough and in a couple days I got in contact with a Business Advisor from SBDC. We meet at a local coffee shop to review my needs and talk about opportunities. I have been surprised by the amount of economic development agencies and number of activities going on in Ventura County.
So far I have added a new tagline to my business and clarified my the brand point of view. I have been evolving by business materials every 6 to 12 months – as my small business changes. I created a couple new graphics to update my website, foreverbird.com, and social media pages.
