I recently received the sample fabrics and designs in the mail. My set included designs on 5 different fabrics; Basic combed cotton, Cotton silk, Linen-cotton canvas, Silk Crepe de Chine, and Heavy Cotton Twill. They all came out great!

Out of the set I love the vibrancy of the color in my Silk-Crepe de Chine test swatch. The fabric has a smooth, shiny surface, allows light to pass through easily and folds nicely – all together creating a soft multi layered and textured look. I think it would be great for clothing – scarves or other flowing things

My other top choice in fabric for my designs is the Linen-Cotton Canvas. It’s almost the opposite of the Silk-Crepe. It’s a stiff and opaque fabric. What I love about it is the saturation of the color – the range from dark to light it very close to the original RGB colors in the design. This fabric would be great for pillows 🙂
