If you take your sketchbook along on a hike then your sure to find a inspiration in the landscape. If your not able to go out and actually draw from life, a video might do the trick. I like to sketch and take video while out in nature, and then archive what I have on my blog for reference later when I’m working in my studio at home.
This location is a little hidden water oasis off the trail in Rose Valley – Ojai CA. It’s been a really dry year in California so this this one of the only water sources for miles.
