Every month I publish a new desktop calendar featuring one of my paintings. The image is sized to fit on mobile devices like iPads, iPhones, and laptops – but you can use it on just about any electronic device. I have found that changing out my digital calendar each month is a nice way to mark the time as is passes. There are special events each month to plan for in advance – like the upcoming 4th of July – I like to celebrate!
July I was inspired by bright yellow flowers – and also the color pallet that I created for a peacock. I had extra yellow and green oil paint remaining so I decided to use it on a little canvas I had in the studio to create a flower. The flower painting is also reminiscent of fireworks.
