Ventura, CA – Announcing Aqua, a group art show featuring local artists. The show is on display from November 17th, 2016 through January 5th, 2017 at the Sandbox Coffeehouse. The public reception is November 17th from 6:30–8:00 P.M.
What does water mean to you? Explore artist’s interpretations of water in paintings and prints that reflect diverse points of view. The venue for this art show, Sandbox Coffeehouse, adds a performance and collaborative layer to the traditional art viewing experience. As people quench their thirst and talk with friends, they embody the spirit of Aqua.

ABOUT THE ARTISTS:
- Jojo Chongjaroenjaiis an illustrator, originally from Thailand, with a background in animation. Her works are inspired by people in her daily life. Each whimsical piece is individually handcrafted from her imagination.
- Mitra Cline is an interdisciplinary artist and native to Santa Barbara. Her work explores the psychology of creativity and social equity.
- Eric Harper comes from traditional hand-drawn animation. Originally from Arizona, he moved to LA to pursue 3D character animation. He enjoys figurative illustration and digital painting.
- Zulema Covarrubias is a Chicago native artist with a degree in Graphic Arts. Her medium is paper collage and influenced by fantasy art.
