Loyalty reflections #loyal #trust

Can you be loyal to more than one? What is the benefit of loyalty and what is the cost?

I’ve been overwhelmed by this sensation in my chest when I feel, think, hear, or see people exploiting ‘others’.

  • Benefits for loyalty
  • Punishment for betrayal
  • Exploiting loyalty
  • Benefits of betrayal

In my dream is a house in a flood with water and mud. Escaping to new headquarters and given replacement phone.

  • False sense of safety
  • Undermining structure
  • Loss and gain

In real life it’s last resort options and the stories of injustice I hear that capture my attention.

  • Predatory lending
  • Chemical addiction
  • Love of violence

I get relief in poetic language and expression. A quote from Proverbs 3:5-6 New International Version (NIV)

  • 5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;
  • 6 in all your ways submit to him,  and he will make your paths straight.[a]

I explored the ideas of loyalty on Pinterest; Loyalty cards, Loyal lovers, Loyal family, Loayalty programs, Loyal customers, Loyal animal, Loyal zodiac signs, Loyal believers.

In my drawing I found peace in the interconnected fate of our world.
