My daily creative practice requires self-discipline. The current health emergency is clearly in today’s drawing. The figure is bending the curve in my picture as we all aim to stop the exponential growth of the Covid-19 pandemic.
I also choose to work with oil pastels from my great grandmother. I like using art materials given to me. I got curious about the price change for the oil pastels because this set has a label. Comparable sets sell in the 100-200 price range. What makes your material possessions valuable is a great question to contemplate. For me, I see deep value in history.
