This series is bright colors with metallic acrylics. The loose canvas rectangles are cut from a larger piece. The main painting from this canvas was double sided. I will put photos of the original in the collage below.
A Rumi poem inspired some of this work. Physical separation of the head with a cut canvas and a head in the clouds are two ways this idea influenced the images. These are photos of work in progress. The canvas is double sided and will hang as a final display.
