The Mermaid Type Tarot Kickstarter campaign officially launched today, June 30, 2020. The goal is to raise $2,000 in 20 days. Funds will pay for publishing a first edition of tarot cards and guidebooks.
The Mermaid Type Project is about balance, interconnection, and wholeness. Inspired by relationship and depth psychology, each letter is a complete character. The Mermaid Type Tarot is a creative communication tool open to infinite possibility.
Balancing things is an art that all people must learn. The challenge of creative individuals living today is to balance. The first image of balance that comes to mind is the masculine and feminine together. Mermaid Type started with drawing mermaid couples. More diversity emerged as the capital letters expanded into numbers, lowercase letters, and special characters.
The mermaid characters have stories to tell and they want to collaborate with you. A tarot deck is a tool to help balance and explore unique relationships and possibilities.
