This past weekend, I had the pleasure of attending the Lucidity Festival, an annual gathering of artists, musicians, and spiritual seekers in Santa Barbara, California. My brother and I were excited to participate in two art workshops and explore the festival’s vibrant atmosphere. In this blog post, I will share some of the photos I took during our long weekend adventure with the new bike gypsy trailer!
Art Workshop 1: Community Mural
Our first art workshop was a community mural, led by a talented artist named Mitra. Participants were given a variety of canvas tiles and instructed to paint and color them in a that spoke to them. It was a challenging but rewarding experience, and we were all proud of the finished product.
Art Workshop 2: Mask Making
Our second art workshop was a Mask Making class, Saturday afternoon in the family garden. We provided supplies and a couple different types of masks. Some kids painted makeup designs and others cut the masks to create their own unique designs.
Aside from the art workshops, there were many other highlights of the Lucidity Festival. We enjoyed live music performances, stunning art installations, and delicious food vendors. We also attended a guided meditation session and a workshop on sustainable living practices.
Overall, the Lucidity Festival was an incredible experience that allowed me and my brother to connect with our creativity and spirituality. I am grateful for the opportunity to attend and participate in the art workshops. I hope these photos have given you a glimpse into the magic of this festival.
