Rock finds at Antiques on Main in Cambria, CA

New stones from my recent trip to Cambria. The stones are citrine, pink heulandite, green opal, azurite, machite, cuprite, rainbow moonstone, rose quartz, and labradorite. I arrange the rocks on colored glitter sand in a large papier-mâché hemisphere made from old sketchbook pages.

Annual holiday gift series-getting started

Hanging Planters

Working on new hanging planters. This is the first one. It’s about 4 inches tall and made from polymer clay and acrylic paint with hemp string and succulents. Painting on a round object is cool and I had to take photos from each angle. After finishing the planter, I recreated the image in watercolor.
