Original Public Art

I started to make original interactive public art in 2011 when I joined the Santa Barbara Beach Art Show. The show attracts a large number of tourists and I was inspired to create something for them. I created the first photo stop painting for this purpose. Since then I have made another and taken these photo paintings to several events, including Lucidity Festival and Quickdraw. I have also been invited to create several murals in the Funk Zone of Santa Barbara. I have also danced in the Santa Barbara Summer Solstice Parade as well as chalk drawing in the Santa Barbara I Madonnari Festival. In 2015 I am working on a new project – a mobile bike interactive theatre and face painting collaboration for Burning Man. Creating original public art is so much fun and I hope to be doing more of these projects in the future!
